Our PERFECT range of dog rolls are a great food for puppies.  The rolls are nutritionally complete and balanced for all life stages (including puppies).

The recipes are formulated to meet AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) standard for Growth and Reproduction which is a more stringent standard requirement than for Adult Maintenance.   Higher levels of protein and fat are required for puppies, and even specific vitamins and minerals must be at higher minimum levels. For example, Calcium, which is essential for bone development is particularly important to pups!

Our PERFECT range of dog rolls are also pasteurised; this means they are gently cooked at lower temperatures than say, a canned product.  This means that the protein remains easily digestible.

High temperature cooking changes protein structure and it clumps and becomes less digestible. This means the dogs/pups don’t absorb amino acids as well through their digestive tract (and these are essential for muscle growth and repair and bone formation) So, it is really important to cook the meat (protein) only “just enough” – to make sure any bacteria present has been killed. This is what we do!!
